Like many artists, I’ve had a passion for creating ever since I could hold a crayon. I always knew art would be an essential part of my life, but was unsure what that would look like for me.

Graphic Designer? Art Teacher? Freelance Artist? Hobby Artist?

I started college at Loyola University Chicago studying graphic design, but quickly discovered I missed creating physical art. On to plan B.

After transferring to Purdue University and getting my degree in Art Education, I taught art for nearly 3 years before the burnout settled in. Coincidentally, around the same time, I discovered I was pregnant! I took this as a sign to focus on me, my growing baby, and my personal relationship with art.

Now, nearly 2 years later, I’m finally living the life I always knew I wanted, but was scared to embrace. I’m an artist. I’m a mom. I’m a member of an amazing community who has supported me and given me incredible opportunities.
